Jelani Charles Davis has been practicing law for over 11 years. Mr. Davis primarily concentrates in the area of Criminal Law. He has successfully litigated over 400 trials in a wide range of cases in Local, State and Federal jurisdictions.
Mr. Davis and his relentless pursuit of justice to help others has brought his experience to Glantzlaw as the Senior Criminal Defense Attorney. He is dedicated to fairness and integrity for all of the clients he represents in and out of the court room. Mr. Davis has extensive legal experience and the commitment to deliver successful results.
Mr. Davis graduated with Honors from Florida A & M University with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Theater and Spanish. Born and raised in Miami-Dade County, Mr. Davis received his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law. While attending school, he served as a Law Clerk Summer Associate at the Third District Court of Appeals of Florida, and as a certified legal intern with the Miami-Dade Public Defenders Office. He was also a member of the Moot Court team. Upon graduating, Mr. Davis worked as a Trial Attorney in the Miami-Dade Public Defenders Office and later served as an Assistant Regional Counsel for the Third District. His passion for both law and his local community has led Mr. Davis to volunteer with numerous seal/expungement redemption workshops. He is a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has worked with several pro bono programs sponsored by Legal Aid Services of South Florida.
