David Jenks

David Jenks

David Jenks has been an attorney for over 21 years.  He handles practice areas of:  Consumer Finance and Collections, Contracts, Automobile Lemon Law, Public Records, Employment, Florida Unemployment Compensation, Property and Construction Title Liens, and Homeowner and Condominium Association Law.

David’s decision to become an attorney was greatly influenced by being part of a family of legal professionals, and mostly by his desire to follow the legal career path of his older brother and sister.

He is committed to enriching the lives of his clients and others through service. He avidly participates in faith-based community service and outreach programs for the elderly, the homeless, and disadvantaged youth.

David teaches undergraduate Business Law part-time and believes in the importance of art and culture and making this education available in public schools. While working at Florida Department of State Division of Cultural Affairs, David developed and implemented a new production workflow process for receiving, numbering and inputting grant applications.  As a public records management instructor for the State Library and Archives, David retooled, updated and digitized training presentations, graphics, and records schedule manuals.  As a pro bono coordinator, David was directly responsible for upgrading referral processes and introducing new referral and pro se programs in Miami-Dade and Volusia counties.

His devotion to relentlessly pursuit justice for his clients, might be compared to his passion for playing the French horn.  David once played the French horn in Carnegie Hall, while serving the community as a volunteer chaperone and assistant instrument coach with the South Florida Youth Symphony.
