“I have learned that if you’re headed in the wrong direction, turn around. Life considers U turns legal in all jurisdictions.”
Kelly Kester has been practicing law for over 22 years. Her extensive legal experience includes: business and corporate matters, forming legal entities, resolving major business disputes, and reviewing and drafting business agreements. In her Consumer Law practice, she represents victims of unfair debt collection practices, as well as creditors in the collection of debts and assists victims of identity theft. Experienced in Landlord/Tenant issues, Kelly represents commercial and residential landlords and tenants in lease drafting, review, and dispute resolution. Kelly also counsels clients regarding protection of their intellectual property through copyrights and trademarks.
Realizing how profoundly life changing an attorney can be to someone who comes to them for help, Kelly decided to pursuit her career in law. She began working as in-house counsel for start-ups handling the legal set-up of these companies: establishing operating procedures; drafting non-competes; reviewing commercial leases, client contracts and vendor agreements; and assisting in collection of debts.
Kelly is an avid member of several organizations raising funds for or tendering to the welfare of animals, including rescuing animals in areas where a natural disaster occurred. She also believes that hungry kids can’t learn and therefore believes in the importance of providing children with the healthy and nutritious meals they need.
