Barry Marcus

BIOGRAPHY

Barry Marcus is a South Florida native who has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1990.

During the course of Barry’s extensive legal career, he has served in various positions in a wide array of legal practice areas including as an intern in the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office, a child support prosecutor for the Florida Department of Children and Families, corporate counsel in the maritime industry along with representing banks and loan servicers. Between 2000 and 2005, Barry was previously associated with Glantz Law and served in various roles including as a civil and criminal litigator along with working with the firm’s personal injury department. Beginning in 2006 until rejoining Glantz Law, Barry devoted his talents exclusively to the representation of insurance companies and their insureds including serving as general counsel for the Florida operations of Latin America’s largest property and casualty insurance company as well as an association with a law firm who authored a leading treatise on the rights of Florida policyholders.

Barry chose a career in the law because of the endless opportunities to learn and improve. After nearly three decades, Barry still relishes the ability to expand his knowledge and skills as a legal practitioner so he may offer the most competent and capable representation to his clients.
