Irma T. Barrios was born in Cuba, raised in Miami, and is proud to be the first attorney in a family of medical professionals. Her passion to pursue a career in law bloomed in the weeks after Hurricane Andrew in 1992. It was during that challenging time that Irma witnessed the great need in her community as it put itself back together, and she wanted to be the one to help those who were less able to help themselves.
Irma T. Barrios has been practicing law and helping those who need it most for over 18 years. Irma counsels her clients through real estate closings, title examinations, and foreclosures.
Since becoming a member of the Florida Bar in 1998, Irma has represented individuals, financial institutions and developers in more than 10,000 closings in the State of Florida. She is thoroughly dedicated to her clients throughout the entire real estate process, but her commitment does not end there. She guides her clients through their estate planning processes, as well. This way, she is able to stand by her clients’ sides as they manage the creation of their estates, all the way through to passing those estates on to their loved ones.
In addition to being an instrumental member of the team at Glantzlaw, she is an Authorized Agent for Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund, an active member of both Fidelity National Title Group and First American, and has dealt with major title insurance underwriters throughout Florida.
“The law is within everything we do. What better way to serve my community than by being a lawyer and explaining clearly and patiently the confusing aspects of the real estate buying and/or selling process.”
Irma enjoys spending time with family and friends.
