Melvyn Howard Luntz has been practicing law for over 24 years and across continents. Born in England, Melvyn grew up in South Africa where he obtained his law degree. Shortly after, Melvyn moved to the U.S. and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a second law degree in order to practice in the United States.
Melvyn brings a unique and worldly perspective to his work, along with a sincere passion to serve. His mission is to help others pursue justice, and to bring hope to those who are afflicted and downtrodden by the legal system.
Melvyn previously served as a felony trial prosecutor, handling and trying numerous serious felony cases from grand theft to second degree murder. For several years prior to joining Glantzlaw, Melvyn headed a private practice where he focused on criminal defense and civil litigation. Employing his extensive experience, Melvyn continues to consult with and assist in representing clients who have been sued in civil court or charged with criminal offenses. He also defends clients charged with traffic offenses involving serious bodily injury or a fatality. He never stops fighting to preserve his clients’ rights and best interests, no matter the case, because he knows everyone deserves an equal chance at justice under the law.
“Being a lawyer enables me to represent people from every walk of life, and help better their lives. Moreover, there is spiritual fulfilment in bringing hope to those that are afflicted and downtrodden by the system.”
Melvyn enjoys reading, music and art.
